We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Emily Bates to Senior Planner.
Emily has been an integral part of our affiliate company, NJL Consulting, since joining as a Planning Intern in October 2021. Since then, she has shown her commitment to continued professional development through a number of voluntary roles. She has served as Education Lead on the RTPI North West Young Planners Committee. In addition to being an Ambassador for both Regeneration Brainery and PLACED Education. Most recently, she has taken on the role of Schools Outreach and Next Generation Lead for the Central Scotland Women in Property Committee. This role truly reflects her passion for ensuring increased exposure of built environment careers to the next generation.
In September 2024, Emily made the transition to Calton Planning. Where, over the last six months, she has a played key role in supporting our expanding client base. Her knowledge and experience of major residential-led schemes has brought real value to the team and delivered clear, positive outcomes for our clients.
Emily’s promotion reflects her ability to work seamlessly across teams and deliver outstanding results.
We’re delighted to see Emily take this next step in her career. We look forward to seeing how she continues to grow and shape Calton Planning as a Senior Planner.
