At the front end of the process, we can undertake pre-application discussions with Local Planning Authorities to help establish key areas for consideration and shape a strategy for submission. We advise clients on application requirements from the outset. Ensuring the right information is prepared at the right time and that expectations are clear from the beginning.
A key part of our service is the coordination and management of wider project teams. We work closely with architects, engineers and other technical consultants to oversee the preparation of technical reports and supporting documentation required for submission. By acting as the central point of contact, we help ensure the application process is organised and joined up. Therefore, reducing delays and giving clients confidence that all moving parts are being managed effectively.
Calton also brings extensive experience in preparing detailed and evidenced Planning Statements that clearly set out the planning case in support of development proposals. In addition, we handle the preparation and formal submission of applications to councils. We then continue to manage post-submission matters through to determination. Post-submission, we remain actively involved, advising on planning conditions, Legal Agreement matters and any further steps required.
